Applying for Passport to Leisure Card

Birmingham Leisure Card

The Birmingham Leisure Card is an easy to use instant access card that allow all you different Sport & Leisure memberships to be held on one card, including Passport to Leisure, Pulse Point Gym, Direct Debit Options & Tropics Sunbeds.

Once you have a Leisure Card you can also reserve courts, pitches and sunbeds online 7 days in advance by using our online booking service (please note that you will be required to pay for your booking at the end of the online process).

The Standard Leisure Card, which is free of charge, rewards you with points each time you visit a sport and leisure site and pay for an activity or course, these points can then be redemed against future activities and courses.

How can I apply for a Leisure Card?

Applying for a Leisure Card could not be easier!

Your card will be issued in minutes and ready to use immediately. There are two types of Leisure Card:

Standard Leisure Card

Standard Leisure Cards are available free to everyone and offer instant access to all City Council leisure facilities as well as discounts through our Points scheme.

Passport to Leisure Card

The Passport to Leisure Card is an easy to use, instant access card that provides savings on leisure activities to a wide range of concessionary groups. Whether your interest is swimming, tennis, golf or aerobics, a PTL card is for you.

For as little as £4 a year, the Passport to Leisure Card is welcome at over 60 leisure facilities and will help you save money and get more from your leisure time. You don't even have to live within the City boundaries (£15.00 a year to non-residents of Birmingham).

What are Loyalty Points?

Every time you use your Birmingham Leisure Card to pay for activities or courses at a Sport and Leisure facilities you will gain Loyalty points. Every point is worth a penny.

You can then redeem your points against future activities or courses at any participating leisure centre, so the more you use your card the more points you get so the more money you can save!

What is Advance Booking Membership?

An Advanced Booking membership allows you to reserve courts, pitches and sunbeds an extra day in advance (8 days) of customers booking at reception or online without an advance booking membership. This membership type can be added to your card by contacting your local site reception and will cost £14.50 for a years membership. Alternatively you can apply online to have it added to an existing leisure or passport to leisure card.
