The Sports Centre indoor facilities

Sports Hall

The sports hall is capable of housing two simultaneous basketball or netball courts or eight badminton courts.

The building also includes a meeting/function room and a soft play/creche area and has excellent disability access throughout. Refreshments are available via vending machines, or there is a tea preparation area which can be used by groups hiring the facilities.
Pulsepoint Gym
This state of the art facility includes both Cardio Vascular and resistance, (weight) machines, which have been selected to ensure access is available to all including those with disabilities. Health and fitness isl also be catered for with an aerobics programme taking into account the needs of the local community, and also includes women only sessions and sessions aimed specifically at the older population.
The Pulse Point fitness suite is now an Inclusive Fitness Initiative accredited facility. Pulse Point Gym

We also have a disability football and basketball group based here at the centre. We regularly hosts disability sports events with various organisations.

The football sessions are run by:
the County FA on a Wednesday 6-8pm and
Villa Rockets / County FA on a Friday 8-9pm

The basketball session is always looking for additional players, so contact the centre if you are interested in any of the above for more information.

Where we are - directions

The centre is located on Rupert Street just off Nechells Parkway and can be reached via bus routes numbers 66 and 8, whilst bus routes 14, 55, 93, 94, 95 all pass within a short distance of the centre.
There is also a large FREE car park for all site visitors.
