The tennis development programme offers courses for both Adults & Juniors of all abilities. Courses are structured so that each individual can progress through the programme at their own pace. Our team of dedicated, friendly, qualified Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) coaches are available for all levels of tennis instruction, including one-to-one lessons.
Please note that all the following information is regarding the Coaching Programme available at Billesley Indoor Tennis Centre. If you wish to book on any of the following courses you will need to visit the centre to register on your chosen course, you can not book these sessions via the internet.

| Mini Tots - 3 to 4 years old |
Mini tots is for pre school children aged 3 to 5 years old. The session is lead by a qualified Tennis Assistant and includes a variety
of tennis related activities. |

- Increase confidence when working within a group
- It's great fun as well!!

Mini Tennis Red - 4 to 6 years old |
|
Mini Tennis Red I is for players aged 4 to 6 years old. These sessions introduce more tennis specific skills alongside the all important co-ordination and movement skills required for tennis. At the end of Mini tennis Red I the player will need to gain their Red Badge Award to progress to Mini Tennis Red II.

| Mini Tennis Orange
- 6 to 10 years old |
Players will need to have gained their Red Award to enrol at Orange Level. A larger court area (18m x 8m) and a transition ball is used to match the growing skills and size of the players.
Problem solving starts to play a larger part in the coaching, focussing on the tactics of the game. As players gain the ability to rally, baseline
to baseline, on the enlarged court they will be progressed to Mini Tennis Orange II. |

| Mini Tennis Green - 7 to 10 years old |
Mini Tennis Green sessions use the full court with a mid compression ball. At this level players will be developing a full range of skills which equips them to qualify for a LTA rating at the end of this stage. |

| Junior Beginner -
9 to 12 years old |
Junior Tennis I is for inexperienced players who are entering tennis at a later stage, having missed out the Mini tennis Coaching Stage and for players moving into Junior Tennis from Mini Tennis Orange.

Improver - 9 to 12 years old |

Players from Mini Tennis Green and Junior Tennis I would prgress up to this level. They will be playing a more sophisticated level of tennis, which would enable them to compete in LTA Match Play Tournaments.

| Teen Beginner - 13
+ years |
Teen Tennis is desgined for players who are taking up tennis at a late stage and need expert tuition to get them playing to a reasonable
standard.

Improver - 13 + years |

Players who progress into this group would come from Junior Tennis II and Teen tennis I. As always the skills and techniques of the game will be taught through a game based approach.

| Teen Intermediate -
13 + years |
Players from Junior Tennis and Teen Tennis would progress up to this level and players might also be part of the performance
program. Players at this level will be accomplished and should be regular tournament competitors.
