Founded in 2005, the Shard End Recording Studio was set up to offer Individuals, community groups & organisations access to high quality sound recording & rehearsal facilities in a relaxed & comfortable environment, with the main focus on providing educational & training opportunities for all.

Working in partnership with professional Musicians, practitioners & artists, the project can tailor courses & activities to suit the Individual / group needs. From short Introductory taster sessions, D.J workshops & Instrument skills to more advanced Music Production & Sound Engineering courses.

Try your hand at being a DJ / MC or sing & record your favourite song. Learn the skills needed to start a career as an audio recording engineer, live sound engineer or record producer, skills that can empower individuals who want to produce and record their own music with full creative control.
