PLAYSCHEME Playschemes are held at Shenley and other local venues during school holidays, sharing facilities, trained staff and having fun. Ages 5-11yrs, limited places available. Pre-registration & payment is required prior to, and just before the start of each scheme to secure a place. Supported by the Area Playscheme Co-ordinator and Area Community Worker, Shenley facilitates and participates with other Playschemes on events and the provision of training opportunities for local people, which include First Aid, Disability in Sport, and Introduction to Play. |
FAMILY LEARNING This is a community project aiming to work with local people and run in partnership with Adult Education, Shenley Court Community Leisure Centre, Community & Play and the Weoley Parent Link Network. The project targets local families to encourage participation in Leisure & Learning as well as providing certificated courses in First Aid and Child Care. Pre-registration will be required near the start of each scheme, which generally run during school holidays.Contact Shenley Court School for further details on telephone number: 0121 464 5191. |
