Go Play Rugby is an ambitious recruitment campaign to bring back 6000 players to the adult game. It targets former players and aims to remind them of what they are missing.

The campaign will use the interest generated by the Rugby World Cup to maximise the effect of the recruitment activities of local Rugby Clubs.

Throughout the season over 700 rugby clubs and 130 universities and colleges will be running special tournaments, festivals and events to get people back and involved in the game again, from touch, tag, beach and 7s rugby to full contact 15 a side. These activities will be supported by national media campaign including cinema advertising.
