Birmingham City Council has 17 pools across the city - more pools than any other city in the country.

Janine, Justin and Wezley, from Quinton, are all pupils of the Strokes swimming instruction programme. As well as teaching children to swim and developing their skills, members of Strokes can also use all council pools for free for the duration of their 12 week course.

With all this FREE swimming there are no excuses for children to get swimming in Birmingham!
